Patterns and design follow from shape. Color is carefully selected to complement the shape and design. Every subtle tone must feel at home among the gentle curves. I apply up to 8 layers of each color with an airbrush. I then hand-paint clear glaze, which must be just right, to produce a very glassy finish. Each piece is fired 3–4 times.

Dimensions vary by piece, minimum size: 5 in. w x 5 in. h. Pieces are priced at $150 and up, depending on the size of the vessel. More about my process ►
